New designs, each one better than the one before, poured out of the factory in an endless stream. There seemed to be no limit to their creativity. It did not take long for these lures to come to the attention of a major distributor of fishing supplies in Australia. A fax arrived at Tinker Lures requesting that a catalogue be sent to Australia. This posed a problem since there had never been enough money to compile a catalogue. In an attempt to save money, a low-cost photographer was hired and a handful of catalogues were printed on a digital printer. The result was a catalogue of poor quality. Each catalogue ended up costing in excess of R600, but was not something you would eagerly hand to an interested client. Nevertheless, the catalogue was sent off to Australia. Soon a fax arrived from Australia requesting clearer photographs since they were unable to see the product. Left with no choice, the company borrowed money to produce a decent catalogue that was then sent to Australia.
